Dubai: TRACE, the alumni chapter of Thrissur Government Engineering College in Kerala, India, is envisioning a change in the lifestyle of its members through the Technolympics organisation.
TRACE. The College of Engineering, one of the oldest engineering colleges in Kerala and a member of AKCAF, is organizing an athletics meet at Dubai Amity University on November 5. A total of 50 engineering colleges from South India are participating in the one-day event. aluminum members and their families.
TRACE President Muhammad Ashraf said about the thought process that led to the creation of such a new championship: “Technolympics aims to promote the fitness and well-being of the engineering community.”
150 athletes will participate
The event will include 100, 200, 400, 1,500 and 5,000 meter races, and relay race, high jump, shot put, discus throw, and different age group categories for men, women and children.
The senior category will be for ages 19-39, Masters (40-49), Super Seniors (over 50), kids under 12 and 12-19.
A total of 150 athletes will participate in the inaugural event sponsored by the Kalandoor group, which aims to provide the engineering family with a competitive platform to showcase their athletic talents and promote camaraderie among the participating colleges.
