The general meeting of the French DanceSport Association for the 2022-2023 financial year took place on Sunday, October 15, at its head office at 7 rue Chantevent. This meeting took place via video conference, bringing together clubs from all regions of France. After a brief welcome from President Roger Dolléans, treasurer Michèle took the floor to present the accounts.
The financial situation is in good shape and the cash flow shows a surplus that will allow, upon agreement of the various members, to provide assistance with competition travel to amateur and professional competitors as well as referees and organizing clubs. While the contributions for this new year remain unchanged, the office has been renewed with members Roger and Michèle Dolléans, Michel Aufrere, Norbert Paulhiac and Véronique Bousquet.
To date, the Federation manages 340 clubs representing more than 20,000 members; The same trend is expected for 2023-2024.
The projects presented include participation in 6 very important international competitions: Germany in November, Italy in December, France (Paris Courbevoie) in February, Spain in March, Portugal in April and England in May.
As agreed on financial matters, senior couples attending these meetings will be supported by the Federation. The meeting ended with everyone exchanging information.
