Halton Police have taken a significant step forward in their ongoing sexual assault investigation involving a Georgetown fitness trainer. On October 16, 2023, authorities arrested 53-year-old Milton resident Jeffrey Babister in connection with the case. Babister now faces serious charges, including one count of sexual assault and one count of sexual interference.
The alleged incidents occurred at the Fitness Cave Fitness Studio in Georgetown, where the defendant worked as a fitness trainer. Law enforcement officials suspect there may be additional victims who have not yet come forward. They therefore urged anyone who has information about the case or who has been victimized by the defendant to contact the police.
