Community Hospital Fitness Pointe will celebrate 25 years of helping people get and stay fit.
The fitness center at 9950 Calumet Ave. A health fair and open house will be held in Munster on November 4 from 9am to noon. Community Health System invites both its members and the general public to view the renovated facility.
It has been serving the community for a long time with facilities such as lap pools, therapy pools, saunas, steam rooms, jacuzzi and gym.
Instructors will give a lecture on “Getting the Most Out of Total Body Resistance Exercises” at 10 a.m., “Reduce Your Pain, Improve Your Swing” at 10:30, and “In Rolling: Foam Rollers Fix Problems” at 10:30. “Pilates Reformer Fundamentals” at 10:30, 11:00 and “Raise Barre: Learn the Fundamentals of This Exercise” at 11:30
Fitness Pointe offers a range of fitness programs, group classes, pool lessons, personal training, physical therapy and rehabilitation services.
It also operates SpaPointe full-service hair studio and spa.
