Résidences du lac, at the end of the municipal lake, has a city stadium and fitness area, as well as a petanque court. In parallel with these successes, the municipality leveled the football field.
“The second phase has been launched in partnership with Cher Territorial Engineering, for which we will call for tenders at the end of October,” explains mayor Pierre Mancion.
Coming soon, areas within reach of PRMs
For this second phase of the work, the municipality planned the installation of three picnic tables accessible to people with reduced mobility (PRM), eight benches, a table for playing table tennis and a Checkers table suitable for people with reduced mobility.
The construction of a playground with a surface area of 34 m² for young children is also planned. The latter will include: a game tower, two spring games, a knocking swing, a birdhouse holder.
“It’s clear that all these games will be protected by fencing and gates,” the mayor said.
Don’t forget that the place called La Môle will not be forgotten either. It will also be equipped with two games. Completion of the second phase of the work is planned for the end of the first half of 2024.
The work costs 160,000 euros and benefits from subsidies: 74,000 euros from the National Sports Agency and 54,100 euros from the Centre-Val de Loire Region.
“We are currently considering, together with my municipal team, a pedestrian path surrounding the entire lake,” says Pierre Mancion.
