To lead two campaigns at the same time, Lille OSC is responding quite well for now. The Mastiffs, fourth in Ligue 1 and second in their Europa Conference League group, are still in a good place in both competitions and are trying to get a place in Europe, or even better, aim for the C4 cup. This Thursday, Lille will host Slovan Bratislava at the Decathlon Arena – Pierre Mauroy stadium, at the top of Group A of the European Conference League.
LOSC, second in its group, continues its leadership with its victory against Olimpija Ljubljana (2-0) and the draw at Ki Klaksvik (0-0). In the championship, the Northerners are currently in fourth place, three points behind Paris Saint-Germain and the podium.
The Mastiffs are unbeaten in four matches in all competitions and escaped the Brest trap (1-0) last weekend after coming off a spectacular run against league champions Lens (1-1). However, distrust will continue towards Slovan Bratislava, which is undefeated in all competitions for eight matches and leads the Slovak championship standings. Lille can still count on a productive team with four goalscorers and two goals scored in Ligue 1 since the start of the season.
The European Conference League match between Lille and Slovan Bratislava will be broadcast on RMC Sport 1 on Thursday, October 26 at 18.45.
