TopLine Members and Staff Come Together to Help Community Neighbors
Youth Avenues and TopLine with Personal Care Donations
MAPLE GROVE, Minn., October 26, 2023 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — TopLine Financial Credit UnionOwned by a member based in the Twin Cities financial services cooperative, held its annual Self-Care Campaign throughout September, benefiting three local nonprofits, Avenues for Youth, Keystone Community Services, and YMCA of the North Youth and Family Services. TopLine members and staff have generously donated a variety of personal care items, including shower gel and soap, toothpaste and brushes, diapers, hair care products, socks and much more, to help neighbors in need.
Employees were able to participate by donating personal care items and money in exchange for a “Foundation Friday/Saturday” sticker that allowed them to wear jeans to work. TopLine and community members can also purchase items from our Amazon Wish List or Goal Registry and have them delivered directly to TopLine, who in turn deliver to our charitable partners. By the time the program ended, TopLine employees and members had donated nearly 1,700 personal care items and over $900 in cash to help local individuals and families in need.

Since 2002, TopLine Financial Credit Union employees and members have participated in a variety of programs each year to benefit a variety of local non-profit charities. In addition to the annual self-care campaign, these efforts include food, clothing, books, bikes, back-to-school supplies and holiday gifts.
Youth Streets Provides emergency shelter, short-term housing and support services to homeless youth ages 16-24 in Hennepin County. More than 4,900 homeless youth live in Minnesota every night.
