TikTok’s biggest beauty influencer in 2023 is media personality and businesswoman Kylie Jenner. Jenner has amassed over 54.4 million followers and 1.2 billion video likes on TikTok, earning an estimated over $87,000 per video.
Here’s a little history: In August 2015, Kylie announced that she would be launching her first beauty product, a lipstick line called Kylie Lip Kit. Renamed Kylie Cosmetics in February 2016, the number of lip kits reached over 500,000.
Since then, Jenner has released collaborations with her sisters and mother and served as the makeup artistic director for Balmain’s Spring 2020 show at Paris Fashion Week.
In May 2019, Jenner expanded her company to include Kylie Skin, a line of skin care products such as face washes, scrubs, and moisturizers. In 2021, she relaunched Kylie Cosmetics with new and improved formulas that are clean and vegan.

TikTok’s second-biggest beauty influencer is James Charles, who currently has more than 38 million followers and 1.2 billion video likes on the platform. It is estimated that James will earn more than $60,700 for each video he posts on TikTok.
James began her journey to beauty stardom in December 2015 after creating a YouTube channel while working as a local makeup artist in her hometown. In October of the following year, at just 17 years old, he was appointed as CoverGirl’s first male ambassador.
She has since released an eyeshadow palette and created a makeup line in collaboration with Morphe Cosmetics; he has also received numerous awards for his social media work, including two People’s Choice Awards and three Streamy Awards. She completed the make-up of names such as Kylie Jenner, Madison Beer, Doja Cat and Lil Nas X for her YouTube channel.
Earlier this year, Charles launched Painted, a vegan, cruelty-free beauty brand focused on affordability.

The third biggest beauty influencer on TikTok this year is Abby Roberts, who has amassed more than 16.6 million followers and 1.5 billion video likes on the app. It is estimated that Abby earns approximately $26,600 for each video she shares on TikTok.
Roberts first started sharing her unique makeup looks on Instagram in February 2013. She later gained popularity after appearing on Instagram during one of James Charles’ sister takeovers in August 2018, which led to her currently gaining over 2 million followers on the app.
Since then, Roberts has released collaborations with Morphe Cosmetics and Tatti Lashes and appeared as a guest judge on the TikTok challenge on the third series of the BBC’s hit makeup show “Glow Up.” She has also done make-up for celebrities such as Yungblud and Liam Payne.
Roberts has also expanded into the music industry, releasing original songs and supporting artists like Halsey on tour.
