Launching at select Ulta Beauty locations in 10 cities in New York, Massachusetts, Florida, California and Texas, the SOS machines will provide a seamless sampling experience for Ultamate Rewards members and encourage new member sign-ups.
Members will be able to receive one free sample each week of a variety of travel-sized products from leading brands in cosmetics, skin care and hair care. Guests can enter their phone or email to access their Ultamate rewards account to receive free samples, while non-member guests can sign up to receive samples and create an account at the machine.
In addition to providing a consumer-focused sampling experience, smart vending machines also serve as dynamic, interactive advertising platforms that use digital displays for sampling awareness, product launches and brand messaging.
