The latest episode of Hermès Beauty is here and it’s all about the eyes.
The latest products in the beauty line offer six attractive eyeshadow shades that enhance areas of beauty with a harmonious light, as well as six expressive mascara shades that intensify the eyes. In collaboration with some of the House’s renowned experts, such as Gregoris Pyrpylis, Creative Director of Hermès Beauty, Pierre-Alexis Dumas, Artistic Director, and Pierre Hardy, Creative Director of Hermès shoes and jewelery and object designer of Hermès Beauty, the collection creates a new language: expressing emotions through make-up.
“There is something intimate and personal about these palettes, in terms of self-expression,” says Pierre-Alexis Dumas. Each of the six palettes in the collection consists of four silk powder eyeshadows in pigmented shades ranging from natural to intense, featuring some of the brand’s iconic colours. Each palette contains two round and two square eyeshadows with a unique geometric composition that reflects the Bauhaus style that the brand often explores.
Six nature-derived shades include Petal Shadows, a subtle hue.
A poetic floral heritage highlighted by the fiery innocence of pink and plum tones, Ombres Végétales, green leaves with an iridescent glow, a luminous garden full of nature, Ombres Fauves, reminiscent of a silky fabric punctuated by a dazzling and ephemeral orange, Amber notes intense, like autumn sunlight and Ombres Marines, an intense blue full of mysterious tones, like the gaze of the ocean, Ombres Fumées, stormy shadows tinted with a cold light, nurturing a dark presence with celestial highlights, and Ombres Mordorées, golden, full of light
There are traces of bronze on the horizon like the glowing embers of autumn.
Inspired by the silk craft, each eyeshadow formulation consists of at least 72% and up to 98% ingredients of natural origin, depending on the product and shade. The matte surface is reminiscent of silk chiffon, the satin surface is reminiscent of silk twill, and the glittering surface is reminiscent of silk lame. The products are soft and lightweight, providing effortless application, comfort and longevity.
