The night will be remembered as a mix of emotion, creativity, humor and solidarity.
Before the main show, two groups named “Les Boney B” and “On Verra” entertained in the hall. Their paths crossed at the first edition of Fashion Boob. This year, they reunited for a joint concert, despite only one rehearsal. The Fashion Boob initiative is the fruit of the work of Sandrine, member of the collective “Les Bonnets Givrés”. The staging was entrusted to Lady Flore, a well-known artist. The show was a burlesque parade of personalized bras aimed at raising awareness about breast cancer and the importance of early detection. “The staging was great, using lights at the top for the person on stage and the lights at the bottom for the person coming in,” says Patrick, an audience member. Guy emphasizes the quality of the choreography.
After the show, the audience agreed: The event was great and embodied the values of open-mindedness and tolerance. Charlene expressed her desire to perform on stage next year. This enthusiastic response demonstrates the positive impact of the event. Isabelle, who came with her daughter Lia, was equally fascinated. Both praised the courage of the participants and the message of humor, kindness and femininity conveyed. Artists of all genders, men and women, came together to celebrate diversity and break taboos.
Fashion Boob is an example of how creativity, art and solidarity can be used to raise awareness and educate. This is a call for open-mindedness, tolerance and acceptance of diversity.
Everyone is looking forward to the next edition. The courage of its participants, combined with humor and kindness, makes Fashion Boob a celebration of life, creativity and the fight against breast cancer.
